The 2023 Customer Excellence Awards recognize REC certified solar installers and distributor partners in the U.S. who exceed customer expectations with exceptional customer service, sales, installation and promotion of REC.  The Customer Excellence Awards program includes several award categories across each region: Installer of the Year, Best Residential Project, Soalr Service Award, Brand Champion, Outstanding Solar Sales and Outstanding Solar Sales MVP.

Solar Service Award – Taylor Energy AND Greentech Santa Rosa

Taylor Energy installed a 10.2 kW system for the Living Room, a women’s shelter in Santa Rosa, CA that serves 1,200 women and children each year. Installed in partnership with Greentech Santa Rosa, REC, Enphase and IronRidge.

Brand Champion – Astrawatt Solar

Based in Kansas City with 13 locations across the US, Astrawatt Solar is an REC brand champion. Astrawatt promotes RECs premium solar modules and celebrates successful solar installations, consistently posting high-quality customer stories and installation photos shared with over 4,700 Facebook followers and 800 Instagram followers.

Outstanding Solar Sales (West) – OneSource

Since 2018 OneSource has been one of REC’s longest standing distribution partners in California and has helped us become the premium module for Residential in Southern California.

We’re thrilled to have OneSource as a strategic distribution partner helping us continue to bring REC to the market.

Outstanding Solar Sales (Central) – Greentech Minneapolis

Greentech Minneapolis represents channel partnership like no other.  Their sales team leads with REC to enable brand loyalty and partnership for REC’s Minnesota market. 

We really appreciate what the Greentech Minneapolis team has done for REC in the Upper Midwest and are honored to present the Outstanding Solar Sales award for the Central region to Greentech Minneapolis!

Outstanding Solar Sales MVP – Greentech San Diego

Greentech San Diego has grown to become the largest single Greentech location partnering with REC in the Greentech network and are also the single largest distribution location for REC across all partners for the United States.  From local contractors to some of the nation's largest installation companies, Greentech San Diego has been leading the charge across the Greentech network. 

Installer of the Year (West) – A&R Solar

A&R has distinguished themselves as a premiere solar installer for the Pacific Northwest over the last year by a commitment to customer service, quality, and partnership with REC.

A&R moved over to REC last summer and has seen their sales continue to grow quarter over quarter with one of the highest referral rates around, which is a testament to a quality company using a quality panel.

Installer of the Year (Central) – All Energy Solar

With nearly 15 years in the solar business, REC is proud to partner with Minnesota based All Energy Solar.  All Energy has been proudly waving the REC flag since the release of REC’s original Alpha series back in 2019.
